2024 U.S. Election Results

While votes are still being counted in a number of congressional races, the current balance of the U.S. House of Representatives stands at 210 Republicans and 198 Democrats, with 27 races yet to be called* (per the Associated Press). In the Senate, Republicans regained the majority and stand at 52 seats and Democrats at 45 seats, with 3 races undecided* (per the Associated Press). President Donald Trump won the electoral college, securing the required 270 electoral votes (final numbers are still being counted) and the popular vote, totaling over 71 million ballots cast in his favor (per the Associated Press). In the coming weeks and months, ASTA will be engaging with Congress and the Administration as congressional members are sworn in and as President-Elect Trump takes office and the confirmation process begins.
