USDA APHIS Biotechnology Regulatory Service Mandates eFile for All Permits

Effective April 5, USDA APHIS Biotechnology Regulatory Services (BRS) is requiring all permit applicants to use the APHIS eFile system. While new applications will only be accepted through the eFile system, past BRS permits and notifications will continue to be available through ePermits.

APHIS will host online training April 5 – 16. Registration is required and recordings of the training sessions will be available for later viewing. Further, as per the SECURE rule, notifications will no longer be available after April 4, 2021. Additional information can be found here.
