ASTA Urges Administration to Address Non-Tariff Trade Barriers

Recently, ASTA joined a coalition letter on the Indo-Pacific Economic Framework (IPEF) negotiations and endorsed comments regarding the anti-dumping/countervailing duties (AD/CVD) federal register notice posted by the Department of Commerce.

A coalition of more than 20 food and agriculture organizations signed a letter sent to the United States Trade Representative (USTR) Katherine Tai urging her to ensure critical non-tariff barriers are addressed in IPEF negotiations.

Over 15 food and agriculture trade associations endorsed comments submitted to the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the proposed amendments to the AD/CVD regulations released earlier this year.
