CAST Holds Event for Release of New Issue Paper

On March 20 at 10:30 a.m. CST, the Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST) is holding an event at the Donald Danforth Plant Science Center in St. Louis, MO for the rollout of the CAST issue paper “Applications, Benefits, and Challenges of Genome Edited Crops.” ASTA’s Senior Vice President, Scientific Affairs & Policy, Dr. Fan-Li Chou, is a co-author for this paper.

The paper provides a comprehensive overview of gene editing in agriculture, discussing its potential impact on producers, consumers, and the environment. There will be a webinar release of the paper on April 3. For more information and to register, click here.
