APHIS Invites Public Comment on Request for Information on Options for Reducing Regulations for Modified Microbes

On July 2, USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) opened public comment for 60 days on a Request for Information (RFI) that explores options to reduce the regulatory burden for modified microbes. The RFI is now available in the Federal Register. All comments should be received on or before September 3. For more information, view the announcement here.
