ASTA Delegation in China for First CNSA Annual Congress

An ASTA delegation is in Beijing for the first annual Chinese National Seed Association (CNSA) Congress, March 23-28. The group includes: Dr. Qi Ren Chu, Consultant to the CEO, RiceTec, Inc.; Marc Cool, Global Industry Relations, Dow DuPont; Chet Boruff, Chief Executive Officer, Association of Official Seed Certifying Agencies (AOSCA); Warren Stine, Assistant Director of Corn Research, Stine Seed Company; Li Zhao, Chief China Representative, Stine Seed Company; and Michelle Klieger, Director of International Programs and Policy, ASTA.

At the conference, ASTA delegation members will present on topics including seed movement, seed certification and intellectual property rights. While in Beijing, the group is also visiting with the China National Seed Trade Association, the U.S. Embassy in Beijing and the U.S.-China Agriculture and Food Partnership.
