ASTA and AMSAC Host Cross-Border Phytosanitary Workshop

On November 16-17, ASTA and the Mexican Seed Association (AMSAC) hosted a workshop in Mexico City to discuss collaboration on current phytosanitary issues. Attendees included industry from both countries and representatives from USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) and Mexico’s National Service for Agrifood Health, Safety and Quality (SENASICA). Participants visited the airport in Mexico City to see how seeds are processed at a point of entry.
