ASTA International Executive Committee Meets to Advance Policy Priorities

ASTA’s International Executive Committee, comprised of leaders on ASTA’s committees and working groups as well as those representing ASTA in the international arena, met in-person in September to discuss policy priorities for using ASTA’s USDA cooperator program funding. The group was briefed by USDA Foreign Agriculture Service’s Administrator Daniel Whitley on the Administration’s trade policy priorities including the UN Food Systems Summit, World Trade Organization, and with key markets such as China, Mexico, the EU, India, and East Africa.
