- On March 5, 2025
During the 2025 National Native Seed Conference, ASTA members highlighted the unlocked potential of the native seed industry, and how, as an industry, we can grow our positive impact through partnership and greater collaboration between the public and private sectors.
In a panel moderated by ASTA’s Payton Englert, Environment and Conservation Seed Committee members Al Holleman (Agassiz Seed), Rob Wendell (Native Seed Holdings), Brett Bamert (Bamert Seed Company), Jessi Strinmoen (Shooting Star Native Seeds), and John Seymour (Roundstone Native Seed) shared examples of success achieved through partnerships, areas where increased transparency and communication can lead to greater success in conservation initiatives, and the role of the seed company in achieving these goals.
