ASTA Members Host China Delegation

A delegation from China’s Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, including the Deputy Director General for the Seed Management Division, spent last week with ASTA staff, member companies and government agencies learning about U.S. germplasm collection and management, quarantine practices, and phytosanitary standards. ASTA, in collaboration with the China Seed Association, is working to secure a special import permit to move small lots of corn germplasm into China. This trip is a positive step towards that goal.
