ASTA Participates in Celebration of Modern Ag on the National Mall

On March 21-22, ASTA joined partners in the agriculture, sustainability and equipment manufacturing community in Washington, D.C. to showcase the role of agriculture innovation in enabling sustainability.

The Celebration of Modern Agriculture on the National Mall took place outside USDA headquarters between the Smithsonian Museums. Representatives from USDA, EPA, and FDA, along with members of Congress, the public, and local media outlets attended to learn more about the role that science and technology play in agriculture. In it’s interactive display, ASTA highlighted the role of plant breeding in providing more sustainable outcomes for farmers and the environment.
