ASTA Represented at ISF World Seed Congress in Nice, France

ASTA staff and Chair Jerry Flint attend the World Seed Congress

Over 1,700 seed industry professionals, representing 63 countries, gathered in Nice, France June 2-5 to attend the International Seed Federation’s (ISF) World Seed Congress and discuss global issues related to the seed industry. ASTA staff and members were among the 144 U.S. delegates in attendance. The World Seed Congress offers a platform for the industry to come together and shape global policy. ASTA membership was well represented at the event, including participation on the ISF Board of Directors, all policy committees, and all section boards. This year’s theme was “Where Knowledge Flows,” inspiring attendees to share their passion and knowledge. Topics covered included phytosanitary measures, intellectual property rights, plant breeding innovation, and sustainability.
