ASTA Signs Letter Regarding the Need for a Miscellaneous Tariff Bill

On January 30, ASTA, along with more than 35 other agricultural organizations, signed a letter to U.S. Senate Committee on Finance Chair Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) and Ranking Member Mike Crapo (D-Idaho) U.S. House Committee on Ways and Means Chair Jason Smith (R-Mo.) and Ranking Member Richard Neal (D-Mass.) urging the passing of a Miscellaneous Tariff Bill (MTB) as soon as possible.
The MTB, which expired in December 2020, temporarily reduces or eliminates tariffs on products that are not available in the United States. For more information, read the letter here.
