ASTA Staff Attends African Seed Congress

ASTA staff and members traveled to Dakar, Senegal, March 6-8, for the African Seed Trade Association Congress. The Congress is the largest meeting of African seed industry professionals. Staff and members met with key leaders of national seed associations, industry leaders, nonprofit organizations, and locally-employed Foreign Agriculture Service officers and USAID employees. Staff also participated in a field trip to learn about local vegetable seed production hosted by ASTA member Rijk Zwaan. ASTA looks forward to building on these connections and developing more strategic partnerships throughout Africa.
