ASTA Submits Comments to President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology

The President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) recently announced an open comment period on issues relating to climate change, national security, and the goal of achieving net zero emissions by 2050. ASTA submitted comments outlining priorities in the areas of: plant breeding innovation, environmental and conservation seed, cover crops, seed treatments, and the importance of public and private plant breeding sector collaboration.
