ASTA Supports Nomination of Brooke Leslie Rollins for Secretary of Agriculture

On January 15, ASTA joined more than 420 agriculture groups in signing a letter to Senate Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry Committee Chairman Boozman and Ranking Member Klobuchar strongly supporting the nomination of Brooke Leslie Rollins as the 33rd Secretary of Agriculture. Rollins was the president and CEO of the Texas Public Policy Foundation from 2003-2018 before she founded the America First Policy Institute in 2021.
The confirmation hearing is scheduled for January 23 beginning at 10:00 a.m. ET and can be watched online on the Senate ag committee website.
