ASTA’s Seed Expo 2019 Unveils New Special Events

This year’s Seed Expo, held as part of ASTA’s CSS & Seed Expo 2019 December 9-12 in Chicago, will unveil two new special events on the show floor, along with the continuation of a third back-by-popular-demand event from 2018.

The first event in the series, the Ag Innovations Showcase, will be held on Tuesday, December 10. The showcase will feature live stage presentations by eight companies offering the latest in ag technology and innovations – including the announcement of a new breeding technology. Participating companies include SlantRange, Progeny Drone, Agronomix Software, Arable and AgImageNet, to name a few.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the Expo will feature topic-specific educational tours, following up on the highly successful debut of the expo education concept from 2018. This year’s Seed Treatment Tour will be held Wednesday, December 11, followed by the new Equipment Innovations tour on Thursday, December 12, all of which are outlined in a new Call for Proposals to exhibitor companies.

“By combining the exhibition experience with the educational program, we have been able to not only deliver content more effectively, but have also created a simultaneous networking experience,” says Jennifer Crouse, ASTA’s Director of Meetings & Services. “The 2018 Seed Treatment tour produced the high point of total attendance across the entire week of the Expo.”
