- On May 23, 2024
On May 14, the White House Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) announced the outcomes from its four-year review of the China Section 301 tariffs imposed under the previous Administration in 2018. The U.S. government proposes maintaining the existing 25% tariff on a wide range of traded goods exported from China to the United States, including 20 categories of vegetable and flower seeds. A Federal Register notice describing these proposed changes is expected to be published in the coming months. More information can be found in the USTR press release and report.
