Don’t Miss ASTA’s First In-Person Conference Since the Pandemic
- On June 2, 2021
ASTA is excited to welcome back members and friends both in-person and virtually to its 2021 Policy & Leadership Development Conference, June 20-23 in Washington, D.C.! ASTA has been steadily preparing to provide the best member experience, including great speakers, educational content and networking opportunities, while keeping attendees health and safety top of mind. Attendees will hear from members of Congress, the Senate, USDA – even an anticipated keynote by Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack – before making their voices heard on Capitol Hill in a series of advocacy appointments on the last day of the conference.
The government restrictions on some of the former COVID-19 related protocols, capacity limits and mask mandates have changed since our conference registration opened in March 2021, including:
- The District of Columbia will have removed all capacity restrictions on events, restaurants, bars, museums – anything and everything that would have affected this event – as of June 11.
- On May 17, the mask mandate in Washington, D.C. was eliminated for individuals who are fully vaccinated (defined as having received their final shot at least two weeks prior to their travel).
- On May 20, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts also lifted their mask mandate for vaccinated individuals inside their properties (Hyatt employees are still required to wear masks).
Register to come in-person for all the networking, receptions, D.C. tours, and camaraderie that the June conference has always offered, or register virtually to represent your company and get back up to speed on crucial seed policy development. One way or another – join us in June!
