Webinar: Unlocking competitive and sustainable agriculture through Plant Breeding Innovation

Plant Breeding Innovation (PBI), such as new genomic techniques (NGTs), have the potential to contribute to shaping the future of a competitive and sustainable agricultural sector on both sides of the Atlantic. This webinar, supported by the American Seed Trade Association (ASTA) and Euroseeds, will discuss what the potential, real-life applications and benefits of PBI are – to farmers, consumers and the planet – and what is needed in order to realise that potential. By involving industry experts from outside of Europe as well as European scientists and farmers, the event will draw attention to the need for transatlantic collaboration for achieving this goal.
