Final Rule Issued for PVP of Asexually Propagated Varieties in the U.S.

Click here for the final rule for Plant Variety Protection (PVP) of asexually propagated varieties issued by the USDA PVP Office (PVPO) on January 6. The PVPO will offer a webinar on the newly published regulations and how to apply for a PVP certificate. The webinar will be held live on January 30 from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. EST. To register for the webinar, email the PVPO with the subject line: “PVPO Webinar Registration.” In the body of the message, please state that you request registration to the training. Once you are registered, you will receive the video-conference link and phone number by email. The webinar registration deadline is January 21 at 6:00 p.m. EST.
