FTSF Programs Expanding

First the Seed Foundation (FTSF), a 501(c)(3) established by ASTA in 2008, is growing! Educators across the country are being exposed to the programs offered by the FTSF through community support and involvement. The School Garden Grant program enables recipients to create or improve their school garden while educating students about gardening. Some educators have become advocates for FTSF programs like Tomatosphere, sharing their experiences online and encouraging others to participate.

The mission of FTSF is to create and provide educational and informative materials and resources on the science and value of crops and food produced from seed and to encourage the younger generations to become more involved with agriculture.
