Joe Funk Takes on New Role as Contributing Editor at Seed World

Seed World recently welcomed Joe Funk as a contributing editor.
After more than 19 years of experience covering the seed industry, Funk announced his retirement as executive editor from Seed Today in June, 2017. Most recently, he worked as a consultant for the Context Network, spending more than a month on assignment in Africa.
In recognition of his contributions to the seed industry, ASTA honored Funk with its 2017 Distinguished Service Award at its Annual Convention in Minneapolis.
Funk is a graduate of the University of Illinois where he studied agronomy and agricultural economics. Today, he resides in Kalamazoo, Mich., with his wife and is enjoying more time away from the computer.
