Senate Committee Holds Michael Regan Confirmation Hearing

On February 3, the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works held a confirmation hearing on the nomination of Michael S. Regan to be Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Regan previously served as the Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality. His testimony outlined his priorities for the EPA including the importance of stakeholder engagement, science and transparency in tackling issues like climate change.

ASTA joined other agriculture industry organizations on a letter in support of Regan’s confirmation.
