SSF Seeks New Board Member

The Seed Science Foundation (SSF) is looking for a member to fill the open Research Investment Lead (RIL) position on its board. The RIL is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with universities, associations, funding agencies, foundations, private seed industry members, and other interested parties. The desired goal is to establish and increase, as needed, the external funding for SSF from the six subject matter areas that identify research projects of importance to the seed industry. As the SSF identifies research or other projects that require funding, the RIL will leverage those relationships to gain financial support from the relevant parties.

The RIL works closely with the Research Chair and six Subject Matter Chairs to understand research priorities and potential funding sources. To apply or learn more, email Ann Jorss.
