Upcoming Webinar: Herbicide Strategy for Endangered Species with EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs

On August 10, USDA’s Office of Pest Management Policy (OPMP) will host a webinar with representatives from EPA’s Office of Pesticide Programs to discuss EPA’s recently-released draft Herbicide Strategy. Available for public comment through September 22, the strategy is part of EPA’s obligations under the Endangered Species Act (ESA) for herbicide registration actions. It identifies draft mitigation measures for federally listed endangered species and their critical habitats that are particularly vulnerable to herbicide exposure from conventional agricultural uses.
