USDA FAS Visits with ASTA Member Pure Seed

From September 17-23, USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service sent 28 foreign attachés from 22 countries on orientation visits in Eastern, Central and Western Oregon to provide firsthand knowledge of the excellence and diversity of American agriculture. One of the stops on this tour was ASTA member Pure Seed in Canby, OR as they showcased their specialty grasses. ASTA Board member and President of Pure Seed, Crystal Rose Fricker, hosted the group at their facility and research plots. Other stops included learning about pears, blueberries, hops, wine and more.
