USDA Releases ECAP Funds for Row Crop Producers

On March 18, USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins announced $10 billion in economic assistance payments for corn, soybean, wheat, cotton, rice, and other field crop growers through the Emergency Commodity Assistance Program (ECAP). These payments were initially authorized by Congress in the December 2024 spending bill and are intended to support growers and producers for last year’s commodity market decline.
