USDA Seeks Comment on Ready-to-Deploy Technologies as Part of the Agriculture Innovation Agenda

On September 10, USDA published a request for information regarding off-the-shelf innovative technologies and practices that can be readily deployed in support of the agency’s Agriculture Innovation Agenda (AIA). The public comment period is open through November 9, 2020. Previously USDA had sought comments on pipeline technologies and practices.

Announced at the February 2020 Agricultural Outlook Forum, the AIA has the overarching goal of invigorating innovation to support production increase by 40% with concomitant reduction in environmental impact by 50%. USDA recently launched a new website to serve as a one-stop location for information on the agenda.
